Subject: AMC's version of The Deer Hunter

Came across your website and wanted to drop you a note.  We are the 
producers of AMC's Much More Movie and wanted to address a few things 
on your site.  First, thank you for your compliment on our presentation 
of The Deer Hunter with streaming information.  It was a difficult 
movie for us to apply our "treatment" to because of its length!

As for the fact/correction regarding the bar in Mingo Junction,  
Michael Cimino is quoted in the film's original press materials as 
follows:  "We built the bar using an old house.  It's perfect and today 
its a working saloon for the mill workers of the town."  That was the 
main source we used for that fact -- so Corry Smith (who sent you the 
clarification email) might have, in fact, walked past the "bar" on his 
way to football practice, but perhaps back when it was still a house!

Just wanted to clarify!
