What is the name of the song that is played in the bar/at the
wedding? It has the lines "I love you baby", etc.
Who directed/produced/wrote the film?
Who composed the theme song for the film (Cavatina)?
What is the name of the song played at the bowling alley when Mike
is looking at Linda?
What was the budget for the film?
What is the name of the piece played by John (the bartender) on the
piano after the hunting trip, just before Mike, Nick, and Steven leave for
Vietnam?
What is Nick's full name?
What is the novelization? Where can I find it?
The name of the song is "Can't Take My Eyes Off of You" by
Franki Valli. Unfortunately, I do not have any suggestions on where to
locate a copy.
The film was directed by Michael Cimino and was written by Cimino, Louis
Garfinkle, Quinn K. Redeker, and Deric Washburn. It was produced by Cimino, Michael Deeley, John
Peverall, Barry Spikings, Joann Carelli (associate), and Marion Rosenberg (associate).
Stanley Myers.
Tattletell Eyes. Author unknown.
$15,000,000 (US).
The piece is: Chopin Nocturne Op. 15 No. 3 in G minor. Unfortunately, I
do not have any suggestions on where to locate a copy.
Nikanor Chevotarevich, according to the novelization by E.M. Corder.
First published in Great Britain by Coronet Books in 1979, the
novelization is not identical to the film, but is very close and accurate.
Some minor details have been changed and the dialogue does not always
match up with the dialogue from the film. The edition I purchased from
the Internet a few years ago is from 1981 and seems to have been
originally purchased by someone named Derek Barnes. Derek, if you're out
there reading this, I have your old book. I'm not sure if it will help or
not but the ISBN of the book is "0 340 24335 X". As I said, I bought the
book from the Internet (I believe it was from eBay).
